Complete with 120-page booklet of biographies for each featured black American that is celebrated in this deck. Four important fields of endeavor provide the playing card deck with suits Human Rights, Science and Industry, Adventure, and The Arts. Suitable for most card games.
This deck of unigue playing cards features the names or logos from the Negro league baseball teams along with exclusive team photos of Negro League championship teams. The deck was created in a joint effort by the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) and US Playing Cards with 15 cents of each deck sold going to help fund the "Negro Leagues Baseball Museum". The back design is made using the tradition Bicycle Back turned in to a baseball diamon color. The card faces feature 24 different teams and are made to resemble an actual baseball by featuring a worn look along with the threads of the baseball. A great deck for collectors!
BUFFALO SOLDIERS CARDS - For decades African American soldiers in the rank and file of the U.s. Military remained unsung heroes. The black regiments, which came into being in 1866, quickly earned the respect of both fellow servicemen and opponents.
Notable Black Women in American History features 13 African American women and explores their significant historical and cultural contributions. While they are a great way to learn about history, they can still be used for any standard card game. They also make a great conversation piece for your next card night.
