The quality finish on these playing cards make them a fine alternative to the Bicycle brand and their one-way back design can come in handy, too. Decks may be blue or red - if you order an even number of each, we will attempt to ship an even amount of each color.
This deck is a personal favoirte of Newt's Dad as it has a great snap and long play.
The Squeezer’s deck history goes back into the late 1800’s. This particular deck features the 2 dogs Squeezer and Trip with the caption “There is a tie that binds us to our homes”. This commemorates the consolidation of the New York Consolidated Card Co (manufacturers of Squeezers). & the Andrew Dougherty Co. (manufacturers of Triplicates). Both Companies are now divisions of the U.S. Playing Card Co. but not really recognized anymore. This deck was first printed in 1877 with a reprint in 1927 for their 50 year anniversary and again in 1977 for their 100 year anniversary. These decks are printed now in very limited quantities and are not commonly found. USPC has already started to limit purchases and make it more difficult for merchants to purchase. As USPC has already deleted over half of its product line in 2008 and 2009, they also cut this item from their normal product line and it is only available via special order. So if you are looking for a high quality, truly unique deck of cards this may be your ticket.
