Newt's Playing Cards is committed to permission-based email marketing practices, and as a result has established this no-tolerance Anti-Spam Policy.
1. What is Spam?
Spam is commercial email or unsolicited bulk email, including “junk mail”, which has not been requested by the recipient. It is intrusive and often irrelevant or offensive, and it wastes valuable resources. Spam messages are the opposite of permission-based email, which are normally anticipated, personal, relevant and/or associated with a pre-existing business or personal relationship. Inappropriate newsgroup activities, consisting of excessive posting of the same materials to several newsgroups, are also deemed to be spam.
2. Preventing Spam
Customers of Newt's Playing Cards can rest assued that we are the only ones who will send email to them and that we do NOT sell, lend out or give out their information outside of Newt's Playing Cards which is a division of E-Quiver, Inc.
We strongly recommend that as you surf the web that you become selective as to which "list" you join. There are many ways to get on a spam list, one of the most popular ways is when someone puts you on a list without your permission. This is why we only use the permisssion-based email which means if someone added you to our list without your permission, we would NOT send you emails unless you clicked on the confirmation we sent to you.
3. Reporting Spam
If you believe that you have received spam from Newt's or any other company you should report it to one of the following:

If you get spam email that you think is deceptive, forward it to spam@uce.gov. The FTC uses the spam stored in this database to pursue law enforcement actions against people who send deceptive email.
4. False Spam Complaints
Newt's Playing Cards supports the efforts of various organizations working to responsibly eliminate spam activities. However, if an individual has opted-in to receive email from Newt's Playing Cards, and then falsely or maliciously files a spam complaint against Newt's, Newt's will cooperate fully with the appropriate agencies to ban the complainant from use of anti-spam software and the Internet community.
